Rounders competition at Diss High School

Sunny weather greeted us at Diss High School for the annual rounders tournament between local primary schools. Our two teams were mentored by Diss High School sports leaders and we all enjoyed the afternoon of 8 rounders games! Everyone played well, there was good sportsmanship and one of our teams came second in the small schools section; another successful sporting day for Bressingham

Post SATs fun for year 6

Fun, freaky, fabulous Friday: the post SATs day of fun for Year 6 . The children chose some activities to do : decorating biscuits, free art, dodgeball, games outside and   Capture the flag.

After lunch, Class 4 had some free Arts with Year 5.

Last session of the day was P.E  with Capture the flag  and some fun warm ups and cool downs. 

Ending with the Mummy game !!

Tag rugby competition at Diss High School

Wind blew, but the rain held off for today's tag rugby competition on the Diss High School field! Class 4 made up three teams and one of them came first in the small schools category! Even more impressive was the children's behaviour and sportsmanship. The staff were very proud of every person- they all gave every effort and played their part in their team's success. 

It was exciting for our children to be led by some ex- Bressingham pupils, who are now sports leaders at the High School. They were responsible and respected. Well done to all...

For our 100 memorable events, we all took part in a competition and represented our school...

Two of our teams came 2nd and 3rd in the small schools competition. We all showed good sportsmanship and good teamwork too. Well done to all!

It may surprise some, but we all had a good night's sleep! Here we are, smily, at breakfast...

Yo ho ho!  A little pirate time...

Next was an amazing trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point. Cold, but worth it! (Also another of our 100 memorable events.) Just on the boat:

In the afternoon we have climbed high ropes, performed amazing feats on the 3D Maze and become vey muddy on the obstacle course!

Ms Paterson jumped to a trapeze at about 20 metres!

Then swimming before dinner...
