Today we were outside photographing freeze frames of key moments in the story.

Children were taking on roles of different characters.

We trialled some ideas in our sketch books.

The winner at 70cm and it held up for a minute!

The second part of the challenge was to use 4 sheets of paper and 40 cm of tape to protect the egg when dropped from a height of 2 and half metres.

Not many survived!

Our challenge was to use 5 sheets of newspaper and 40 cm tape to make the tallest structure to support an egg for a minute.

Culture Week, Thursday April 3rd: Sainsbury Centre and Cats at the Theatre Royal, Norwich

Class 4 spent the day in Norwich with Class 3 and had an interesting time in The Sainsbury Centre at the University of East Anglia....

 

After lunch we went to see Cats at The Theatre Royal - what a fantastic end to the term!

Volcano!

We have been building our own model volcano today ready to erupt! 

World Book Day

We have enjoyed looking at picture books and shared the story of The Highway Rat. We noticed a lot of similarities to The Highwayman poem we studied last term!

We focused on illustrations in a range of books and we created our own illustration for 'The Dance of the Eagle and the Fish.'

During the afternoon Class 4 children enjoyed reading to pupils in Class 2.
